This size (78x118cm) not only fills a room with daylight but it is big enough to be used as a means of escape. These are the new generation of FAKRO top-hung roof windows as they can be opened in both top-hung and centre-pivot mode at the flick of a button. Winner of the Build It Award for Best Roofing or Cladding System or Product.

U3 Glazing – Double Glazed.
FSC Certified.
BBA Approved (02/3944).
Semi-automatic pressure ventilation V40P to prevent wind gusting.
“topSafe” security and safety offering reinforced hinge and keep together with a steel slat to the lower part of the sash to achieve at least class III safety as per EN13049.
External aluminium colour reference RAL7022.
Natural wood frame.
Internal finish 2 layers of clear lacquer.
Bottom placed handle with 2 micro opening positions.
Glass construction 4H-16-4T.
Acoustic rating 35Db (-1.-3).
Can be used on roofs with pitches between 15-90º.

Measuring Guide

All measurements are displayed width x length on RW4Y and it is important that you leave a 10mm gap all the way around the window when fitting – this is for things like flashing and insulation. For example, if you had a 78x98cm window, the opening would need to be 80x100cm. We would recommend contacting a qualified builder or window fitter to measure your space before purchasing. Glazing Options

Glazing actually refers to the glass itself that is installed within the frame. Roof windows comes in all different styles and types, but they will generally be equipped with double or triple pane sheets but at RW4Y, we have lots of glazing to choose from. Whether it's the most popular, Passivhaus certified or has anti-burglary properties, you'll find your glazing here.

P2 is our most popular glazing option as it offers good insulation for habitable rooms whilst also having an anti-burglary class of laminate and a U-value of 1.3W/m²K.

Glass construction from outside to inside = 4H-Tg15Ar-33.2T:
• 4mm toughened glass outer pane
• 15mm warm TGI spacer filled with inert Argon gas
• 6.8mm internal pane is an anti-burglary class of laminate 33.2 (class P2A, EN 356,1(B)1 wg EN 12600), complete with a low emission coating.

With a thicker warm spacer, the U3 glazing keep the room warmer than other glazing options saving energy and money on utility bills!

Glass construction from outside to inside = 4H-Tg16Ar-4T:
• 4mm toughened glass outer pane
• 16mm warm TGI spacer filled with inert Argon gas
• 4mm centre pane which is toughened complete with a low emission coating.

P5 is also a very popular choice for those who prefer a more insulated option with its triple glazing offering a u-Value of 1.01 W/m²K.

Glass construction from outside to inside = 4HS-Tg10Kr-4HT-Tg8Kr-33.2T:
• 4mm toughened glass outer pane with an easy maintenance layer
• 10mm warm TGI spacer filled with inert Krypton gas
• 4mm centre pane which is toughened with a low emission coating
• 8mm Warm TGI spacer filled with inert Krypton gas
• 6.2mm internal pane is an anti-burglary class of laminate 33.2 (class P2A, EN 356,1(B)1 wg EN 12600), complete with a low emission coating

For non-interlocking plain tiles up to 16mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For profiled roof coverings up to 45mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For natural or man-made, non-interlocking slate up to 10mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For non-interlocking plain tiles up to 16mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For profiled roof coverings up to 45mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For natural or man-made, non-interlocking slate up to 10mm thickness. Our standard exterior colour for windows and flashings is Umbra Grey - RAL 7022.

For deeply profiled roof coverings up 90mm depth. Raises the profile of the window by 10 degrees to ensure complete water tightness.
