  • IMPORTANT NOTE – This is WINDOW ONLY the electrical packs and flashing need to be purchased separately. Get in touch.
  • Size 114cm x 118cm only
  • High-quality close-grain vacuum-impregnated pine is guaranteed to be knot-free, and finished with white acrylic paint.
  • This window is a gravitational smoke ventilation system and is used to help expel the excess smoke and heat during a fire. Additionally, the system enables daily ventilation and allows light into the room.
  • The FSR is equipped with an electric motor, which opens the window sash when one of the following occurs:
    • When smoke is detected in the atmosphere
    • When the glass alarm is shattered.
  • The FSR is usually installed in stairways.
  • All sizes provide a minimum of 1m² of ventilation

You need to purchase separately:

    • 1 x RZN 4503-T Control Unit
    • 1 x 12v 3.2amp battery back up pack
    • 1 x RT45 break glass alarm

All measurements are displayed width x length on RW4Y and it is important that you leave a 10mm gap all the way around the window when fitting – this is for things like flashing and insulation. For example, if you had a 78x98cm window, the opening would need to be 80x100cm. We would recommend contacting a qualified builder or window fitter to measure your space before purchasing. Glazing actually refers to the glass itself that is installed within the frame. Roof windows comes in all different styles and types, but they will generally be equipped with double or triple pane sheets but at RW4Y, we have lots of glazing to choose from. Whether it's the most popular, Passivhaus certified or has anti-burglary properties, you'll find your glazing here.

From inside to outside:

  • 4H – toughened glass
  • 14 – glazing cavity filled with inert gas – argon
  • 33.2T – anti-burglary glass with low-emission coating
